Magnificent sterling silver chatelaine with household tools dangling from chains with dog clips. The decorative belt hook holds a of a pair of scissors, a pencil, a pill box, a miniature note pad, a lorgnette with mother of pearl casing, a beautiful vinaigrette with silver-gilt inside, a shoe hook, a perfume bottle and a thimble holder with a thimble inside. 

The chatelaine is embossed with a romantic scene depicting whimsical figures, cherubs, flowers and a lion. 

Each household item is ornately decorated and individually hallmarked and most are inscribed with the initials EJD and the date 1901.

This piece is highly collectable and is the most exquisite and complete chatelaine that we have ever come across.
